Samuel Oviatt (Isaac7, Isaac6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Thomas3, John2, Alfrodosie1) was born April 16, 1806 in New York and died November 7, 1866 in Jackson, Washington County, New York.  Samuel was the son of Isaac Oviatt and Nancy Miner. He married (1) Lydia Loudon McMillan March 22, 1833 in Coila, Washington County, New York, daughter of John McMillan and Elizabeth Livingston. She was born March 28, 1814 in Washington County, New York and died January 5, 1841. He married (2) Harriet Hedges April 12, 1842, daughter of Abel Hedges and Hannah. She was born June 6, 1811 in New York and died May 19, 1884 in Cambridge, Washington County, New York.

Samuel was a farmer, according to census records. He was buried in Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge, Washington County, New York.

  2. Thomas D. Oviatt, born July 22, 1838 in Jackson, Washington County, New York; died October 6, 1887 in Jackson, Washington County, New York. He married Isabelle R. Arnott December 7, 1869

  1. Lydia Ann Oviatt, born November 1, 1849 in Jackson, Washington County, New York and died June 29, 1877 in Cambridge, Washington County, New York.
