Scrapbooking

Digital scrapbooking is another of my favorite things to do.  This means to create a scrapbook page entirely in the computer.  There are some others who create hybrid layouts which means part is created in the computer and then they add traditional scrapbook elements to the computer generated portion.  It’s really up to you to decide how much to complete in the computer.  Do what makes you feel most creative.

I particularly enjoy scrapping heritage pages.  Sharing a beautiful scrapbook page is a great way to get others interested in your family history research.  I’ve had a number of people tell me they weren’t interested in genealogy thoroughly enjoy leafing through a family heritage book that I created.  That also sparked their memories and gave me more information on particular people.

To see examples of the pages that I’ve made, please read through my Scrapbooking Blog.  Remember that it’s all digital, so it still looks to have the layers and depth of a traditional scrapbook page although it’s entirely computer created.

I also started an Articles section.  I planned this area for more generalized topics and tutorials for creating digital scrapbook pages.

A downloads section will likely appear soon, as well, with a few little kits that I made.
