Maxwell/Small Photo Album – This album was owned by Elizabeth (Maxwell) Small, my 3rd great-grandmother. Elizabeth was born 1 Nov 1814 at Jackson, Washington County, New York to George W. Maxwell and Margaret McDoual. She married Alexander Small on 23 Jan 1834 at Jackson, Washington County, New York. They had eight children together. She died 3 Apr 1867 at Jackson, Washington County, New York and was buried in the East Greenwich Cemetery. This was her photo album with many photos of family and friends. We’re not sure who wrote the names on the photos, but were extremely glad that someone did. Thank you to my Uncle Donald and Aunt Elsie for allowing me to copy the photos.
