The father of Elizabeth (Maxwell) Small, owner of this album, was George W. Maxwell (March 8, 1791-January 21, 1883). This was labeled as Grandfather Maxwell, so I believe this is Elizabeth’s father (we don’t believe Elizabeth herself labeled the photos).
